Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
I find expressive and appealing aromas of strawberry, cola, cinnamon and hints of graham cracker on the nose. On the palate, the wine lunges onto the palate, conveying richness and a full-bodied texture. I find ripe red berry flavors balanced by light vanillin oak notes, transitioning into a bold finale of bright fruit.
Vineyard Notes
2013 was a wonderful wine-growing season in Napa Valley, a true classic. With the exception of a slight heat spike in June, the weather remained consistent throughout the growing season. Two brief mid-September rains had no impact on the grapes still in the field. All of our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir had already been harvested and sunny weather with breezes followed the rains, allowing for the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah that remained to dry out almost immediately. The cooler, sunny weather throughout October allowed the final grapes still on the vine to linger longer, developing more phenolic and flavor maturities with sugar levels remaining steady.
Production Notes
Our 2013 Pinot Noir was hand-picked then further sorted on the crush pad. We used a combination of tanks and small bins for a balanced extraction of aroma, flavor and texture during the 10-12 day fermentations. Cooler fermenting yeasts were utilized and malolactic fermentation took place in barrels. The wines were aged in French oak barrels for 12 months prior to blending, then an additional 6 months prior to bottling.
Food Pairing Notes
Thanksgiving Dinner! Traditional Turkey with all the trimmings, especially cranberry. Ham as well as duck and goose.

We wish to thank you just as before for the gorgeous ideas you gave Janet when preparing her post-graduate research and, most importantly, for providing all of the ideas within a blog post. If we had been aware of your blog a year ago, we will have been kept from the unnecessary measures we were taking. Thank you very much. sex shop
